what is our exclusive anti cracking GCCM?

Tiltex B Anti Cracking GCCM

Tiltex is a needle punched, fibre reinforced, geocomposite, comprising of a high strength, rapid setting, cement-sand mix fixed between two layers of geotextile.

  • Our exclusive Tiltex B cement-sand mix has an added Anti Cracking fibre enhancement. This distributed, self-reinforced, cementitious geocomposite material has dispersed basalt fibres and is an integral part of the cementitious geocomposite. These exclusive properties add durability, strength and flexibility with the ability to withstand extreme climate fluctuations.

  • Tiltex B Anti Cracking GCCM replaces rip rap, stone chipping, grout blankets, shotcrete, concrete, bitumen geomembrane and other traditional erosion control products.

  • Tiltex B is a cost effective alternative erosion control solution with a faster construction time and greater safety controls for the Tiltex B installation SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement)

    HIGH COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH 80MPa

TILTEX SANDMAT

Tiltex Australia is pleased to add SANDMAT to the Tiltex range..

A geocomposite material impregnated with a layer of quartz sand, needle punched between two layers of nonwoven geotextile fabric to form a high strength, robust protection and drainage fabric.

SANDMAT prevents erosion and displacement of subsoils for embankments, stabilization works for erosion control, levies, watercourses, estuary and coastal environments.

The material locks in a uniform sand layer for drainage conveyance, filtration, erosion and protection.

SANDMAT is manufactured in 5.1m wide rolls by 40m long rolls for erosion & scour protection of waterways and embankments where displacement of soils requires drainage, filtration and stability. SANDMAT can also be installed vertically.

SANDMAT is regularly used under Tiltex as a cushion layer and/or subsoil drainage layer.

The use of the Tiltex product resulted in direct measurable safety and risk management benefits for the project by introducing a new, cutting edge product to eliminate what was previously high risk, high labour intensive work on a 1:4 batter. Additional benefits from a time and cost perspective were also achieved.
